Thank you so much for visiting my page. I would truly love to read about what you think of it! 😀
I also really love this photograph because even though it is slightly far-fetched (as are the others), it shocks you and encapsulates this idea that anything could happen. The people are being forced to be self-sufficient and grow their own rice because there is simply too much pollution for rice to be imported or even grown in other countries.
This picture is my favourite because it is simply so clever and interesting. The iconic ‘gherkin’ high-rise city skyscraper has been converted to an ordinary block of flats due to lack of housing because of flood damage and the rising population and longer life expectancy doesn’t help either!
This picture is a direct contrast and shows how climate change could go both ways. The River Thames has frozen over due to the fact temperatures plummet in Winter as weather has become unpredictable. Unfortunately, the frozen Thames will melt every Summer to flood London.
This shows the Notting Hill Carnival being a success as usual but unfortunately to be out in the sun is a health risk. Everyone is therefore provided with standard blue sun cream to protect exposed skin…
Nelson looks down onto a shantytown of climate refugees driven north in search of food as the equatorial belt becomes uninhabitable
This picture demonstrates how flooding and climate change have destroyed people’s homes so they have built shanty homes around Buckingham Palace.
I will use pictures such as this from the Climate Change exhibition by illustrators Robert Graves and Didier Madoc-Jones as inspiration for the posters I plan to use for my own exhibition.
This picture shows how a DSLR camera works and what is inside one
I like the way a gloomy atmosphere is expressed in this picture
